The North Dakota Dietary Managers Association was awarded with the Platinum Level State Achievement Award in 2008. They also received the Membership Award, Newsletter Award, and the Government Affairs Award. Congratulations to all!
Dietary Managers Association (DMA) is a national not-for-profit organization established in 1960 that today has over 15,000 professionals dedicated to the Mission: to provide optimum nutritional care through food service management.
What is means to be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM, CFPP): A CDM, CFPP has the education, training, and experience to perform the responsibilities of a dietary manager and has proven this by passing a nationally recognized credentialing exam. This credential requires a total of 45 hours of continuing education within a three year period to maintain certification.
The NDDMA is an Associate member of the North Dakota Long Term Care Association, which is a professional and advocacy organization representing nursing facilities basic care facilities and assisted living facilities throughout North Dakota. NDLTCA is an affiliate of the American Health Care Association, representing not-for-profit and proprietary facilities in our state. Member facilities care for nearly 8,500 frail elderly and disabled person who can no longer live independently.
