Message from the President
Fall 2007
Have you experienced a major work or life change recently? I have just experienced both. After four years at my formal employer, I have taken a position as a general manager with a contract management company. My 60-bed skilled nursing facility unit is in Duncannon, PA. This week, my husband and I have purchased our very first home together in Greater Harrisburg. It is very exciting and a tremendous amount of work.
Speaking of exciting…the PA DMA 2nd Annual Fall Meeting will be held at Willow Valley Retirement Community on October 11-12, 2007. There is plenty to do and see after the education sessions. Enjoy your time out of your building. Learn and relax.
Please check out National DMA’s website at www.dmaonline.org. There are some awesome tidbits on the homepage including National DMA Meeting and Expo 2007 photos, a website survey, and FREE CE (continuing educations credits). If you have not stopped by the website in a while, take another look.
In closing, I would like to welcome you to another PA DMA year, 2007-2008. The PA Board and I extend an offer to any member that is interested in investing in themselves through volunteerism. Hope to see you soon!
